Our February order SHIPPED TODAY!! Thanks to all of you for being so patient - I should have our orders early next week! Will arrange delivery as soon as I know when the package will arrive!!!

I did a little research -

During December (a somewhat typical sales month I believe) the TOP 20 Personal Sales totals were $14,317. TOP Team sales $23,029. During January with the 50% off sale, TOP 20 Personal Sales total was $32,798, with TOP Team at $64,517.04! That's a great BIG difference! I heard a rumor that on the last day of the sale (Jan 26) within the last 4 hours the company received over 400 orders!!!! No wonder it took them several days to complete packing and shipping those orders!

Upcoming SPECIALS from TAC

The Angel Company has posted their March Special in the Angels ONLY section so I thought I would give you a sneak peek!

This will give me an idea about how many are visiting! I do know that adding my blog address to Angel Blinks on Paper Wings has changed some traffic patterns - I got a comment from Mabelle (she's a designer for TAC! - all the R-coded stamps!)

New E-mail created

I am doing a 60 day free trial with Constant Contact (an e-mail service) I just created the announcement for March TECH Squad and other upcoming events for poki's projects this Spring. I have sent a test e-mail to me only to see how it looks. If I like what I see, I plan to schedule it to be delivered to your INBOX on Monday! I hope you like it! I think it looks pretty good! Be on the LOOKOUT for it!

An upcoming event!

This is an event the I will participate in as a vendor on April 25. Besides having my ANGEL Co products available to order, I will have some other products as well, and some class kits for projects (previously done, and NEW!) Join us for our Spring Scrapbooking Day - "Wild About Texas" - hosted by the CCHS Class of 2009 Project Graduation Committee on April 25, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Clements/Parsons Elementary Cafeteria.

A flyer and a registration form are attached for your convenience (actually, you will have to ask poki to send them!) Completed registration forms with entry fee should be sent to Mary Streckel at Copperas Cove High School, 400 S 25th St, Copperas Cove, TX 76522. The cost for this event is $20 and includes lunch (Stout Kraut Pit will be cooking for us) and a goodie bag. (Please make checks out to CCHS Project Graduation). Registration deadline is April 20th. You will be provided ample talbe space for working on your favorite projects, and the day will also include a Silent Auction, Make & Takes, Door Prizes and an Art Show. Hi all - I've been busy!

I got invited to attend a GO RED Crop on Thursday at the Lone Star Retreat Center in Georgetown. When I started thinking about what to do, I figured it would be a great day to work on Sandy & Mark's wedding album (it's a commission job) but in order to do that I had to have the pictures ready. I've spent all day on Friday, part of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday editing photos and printing them for the album. I have a basic plan for the album, so tomorrow I will be collecting all the supplies to take to get the album actually done in paper. Sandy will be so pleased...their wedding was in October 2007, and I'm not sure they have any printed photos - yet! They have had a DVD of all the photos Mike and a couple of other photographers took, but I know they will be pleased to see some real photos! I'll post some finished pages - if I actually do finish some on Thursday!

The latest word from The Angel Company is - they are working on the last day of the 50% off sale shipments. Hopefully their shipping time will get back to their norm soon!

CLASS on Wednesday, Feb 25

It's in the book - but sometimes it just stays there! You want to try it but you just never seem to get around to doing it! This Felt Flip album was one of the cute projects we did at our Escape Conference in San Antonio in January. It is really easy to make! For $15 fee, I will prep all the pieces you need to make this cool felt album for yourself! Once you've done it, you will definitely want to make more!

Please RSVP if you are interested in coming on Feb 25 at 5:30 p.m. to make this album. If you would like to make it, and can't make it that day, just let me know and I will arrange another time for you!

TECH Squad was fun today!

Thanks, ladies, - I hope you had fun at TECH Squad today! We had a great time and got all of the projects done!

Thanks to Heather for congratulating me on two years with the Angel Company! She got a prize too - a heart shaped blank book! I want to see something on that book soon!

The Angel Company website said that they are filling orders placed on January 26 today - that was the last day of the half price sale, so hopefully by the end of February they will get back to their regular routine in shipping. I don't expect tonight's order for at least two weeks! Will keep you all posted!

I missed again - just a busy day

I was busy with a meeting in Killeen yesterday, and then came home to a nap! When I woke up from the nap, Mike was here and he hooked up the "wireless" connection in my printer, so that I can now print from "greenie" any where in the house. (He was printing from the living room last night! Technology is amazing. And through all of this, any thoughts of loading images to this blog just left my head - so, I'll catch up today with two sets that I thought I had already shown you, but I haven't ...

The first set is "hoppity skippity" R-2041 $18.95 - this one is on my order for tomorrow, who could resist those cute little critters!

The next set is called "beautiful day" T-3031 $21.95 (set of 17 stamps) This set has one of my favorite new quotes from this magazine: "every single day do something that makes your heart sing. " Marcia Wieder I'm looking forward to making some cards with this one!

See you tomorrow at TECH - If my records are accurate, their are still 21 sets in the Serendipity that I haven't shown you, so there are still some surprises at TECH Squad!

I've been working on my scrapbooks this weekend, so I haven't updated my blog with a new page from Serendipity yet. Here is a new set called "some bunny" T-3068 $17.95 (set of 9 stamps) And what cuties they are!

You will see there are a couple of samples, and each has a "try it" idea!

I may be early for Saturday

Since it's shortly after midnight, and I haven't gone to bed - again! - I thought I would load my Saturday Serendipity preview tonight.

The stamp set is called "creataive inspiration" T-3014 $21.95 (set of 23 stamps). You could use if on a filing system - or you could use the tabs creatively like the sample card you see on the page! There is also a project card in tha back of the book that uses this set. Let your imagination run wild - I know you'll be inspirte to use this one creatively!

OOPS! I missed again!

I can't believe I didn't come to my own blog yesterday. I spent lots of the day working on my Vacation 2007 scrapbook at http://www.scrapblog.com/

I am now about half way through Day 9 - we're in Detroit at the Henry Ford Museum - what a wonderful photo op that was. I want to finish through Day 11 (at least) this weekend, and print it for Mike as his Valentine's gift. He got Day 1 - 6 for Christmas!

So with all that going on, I forgot to add a page from Serendidipity ... so here comes two pages:

The first page features a new set called "a kind of gratitude" T-3032 $21.95 (set of 11 stamps). The mailbox project has a complete list of supplies (but not directions) A neat gift package or home dec item for holidays with mail - Christmas, Valentines, Birthdays maybe.

Slide Show

I have been working on a slide show of the cards and projects on the sample board. Some of the cards are in the Serendipity, but most of them are not! I will be showing the slide show during TECH Squad on Feb. 11. The sample boards featured four paper collections: Mimi, Mia's Cottage, Angelee, and Lilly Anna - all bright spring-like colors. I'm ready to work with these colors again!

Here's a card that features "little cupcakes" R-2038 $18.95 for a set of 11 stamps. The patterned paper and cardstock are Lilly Anna SWIC (don't know who created the card, so I can't give credit! As I blog surf on TAC blogs, I am seeing a few of the projects and I am recording the artists name for credit - haven't seen this one!)

Oops!

I can't believe I spent a good share of my day at the computer yesterday (I started working on a HISTORY BOOK for a club I belong to that has a deadline of March 6) and I never updated my blog ... so today you get TWO pages from the Serendipity! It is LIVE NOW - orders are being taken!

The first page features a butterfly set called "want to fly" $21.95. I think the set has potentail for FOCUS art as well as background art stamped onto patterned paper (see the sample at the top of the page done on Mimi SWIC)

The second page I am showing today is the new LEVEL C hostess set, available with a $500 party order (I think I'll need your help with that!) But if The Angel Company stays true to their practice this set should be in the next catalogue revealed July 1, 2009. The set is called "be of good" and has a couple of quotes that are wonderful. "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a BUTTERFLY." and "Just living is not enought, said the butterfly., One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower." Hans Christian Anderson. I have my fingers crossed that this one makes it into the core catalogue - I WANT IT! (You know, me and my butterflies.)
